Edition No.01 — The Long Barn

£0.00

A contemporary linear house inspired by the clarity and restraint of traditional agricultural buildings, reinterpreted for modern family life.

The Long Barn is organised as a simple, elongated form that allows spaces to unfold sequentially along the length of the plan. Living areas are oriented towards views and landscape, while more private rooms are carefully arranged to provide separation, calm, and flexibility.

The architecture is intentionally restrained. A clear roof form, simple massing, and a limited material palette give the house a quiet, confident presence — well suited to countryside and edge-of-village settings where planning sensitivity is critical.

Designed to be adaptable rather than site-specific, The Long Barn works across a range of plot types, from open rural sites to more contained replacement dwellings, offering a strong architectural starting point for the planning process.
